Great Southern BioBlitz in Orange

The Great Southern Bio Blitz is back! As part of Orange Biodiversity Month join Central Tablelands Local Landcare to listen, watch and learn about our natural environment around Lake Canobolas. By participating, you’ll contribute valuable data to help understand and protect our natural world.

Everyone is welcome and the new lakeside track and toilets are wheelchair accessible.

Bring your morning tea and lunch… it is a great place to picnic! Or you can grab lunch at the Lakeside Cafe.

A responsible adult must accompany children under 15 as we will be walking near water.

How to Participate:

  2. Explore your local area and record observations of plants, animals, and fungi.

  3. Upload your findings to the iNaturalist app.
