Dung Beetle Workshop

  • 1147 Forest Road Orange, NSW, 2800 Australia (map)

What can move up to 50 times their weight and supports nutrient recycling in soil?

Dung beetles do this and more! They are ecosystem engineers that will remove dung from the surface, recycle the nutrients back into the soil and reduce pests and parasites.

Join us in Orange for a dung beetle workshop that will cover:

  • identification

  • impacts from climate

  • how to construct a nursery

  • management practices to encourage dung beetles to thrive on your property

Russ Barrow from the Gulbali Institute at Charles Sturt University will be on hand to answer your questions and will demonstrate ways to start breeding them on your farm.

RVSP to secure your spot.
