Great Southern Bioblitz Box Gum Woodland Monitoring - Cowra

  • 'Garrallan' 1128 North Logan Road Cowra, NSW, 2794 Australia (map)

The Great Southern Bioblitz is a citizen science census running from November 24-27th. The census is open to everyone and can be joined by downloading the iNaturalist app onto your phone, creating an account and then uploading the flora and fauna you see during the study period.

For those of you who'd like to get involved but would prefer a group activity, Mid Lachlan Landcare invites you to join us as we survey a local Box Gum Grassy Woodland habitat. We will help you navigate the app and get a start on the process of identifying what's observed on the day.

Images captured do not have to be uploaded straight away meaning we have more time to focus on making our observations.

This is an open and accessible event suitable for the whole family. Morning tea will be provided. Bring sun/rain protection, water & closed-in shoes.

If you have any further questions get in touch at midlachlanlandcare@gmail.com

Please ensure you book a ticket for the event. We are really looking forward to it.
