Join us for a fascinating evening at November’s Green Drinks, featuring wildlife ecologist George Madani, who will introduce us to the endangered Grassland Earless Dragon and share stories of the quest to rediscover this species in Bathurst’s native grasslands. Field Day Opportunity
Extend your learning with the Managing Native Grasslands Field Day the following day. Join Central Tablelands Local Land Services for an immersive field experience to understand the benefits of native pasture grasses and explore practical grassland management strategies, including efforts to locate the endangered Bathurst Grassland Earless Dragon. The day will feature insights from experts on balancing pasture production with ecosystem health and a visit to a local property for a hands-on look at a Grassland Earless Dragon survey site.
