  • 4590 Glen Alice Road Glen Alice, NSW, 2849 Australia (map)

Led by Alain Jaccoud the Bee Whisperer from Capertee Valley, come and learn the ins and outs of Beekeeping, whether you're thinking about getting bees as a beginner or have some experience, there's always something new to learn.

Get answers to your bee-keeping questions:

  • Where do I start?

  • How do I get a hive of bees?

  • What equipment do I need?

  • What plants/trees are good for bees?

  • What if I have a swarm I need to move - what do I do?

  • Can I go and see how it all works at someone’s property?

  • What about viruses - how do I check hive health?

Beekeeping is a rewarding hobby or enterprise, yielding delicious honey and wax products as well as providing ecosystem services and increased pollination. Bees are fascinating creatures, come along for this informal session and have a cuppa with us.
