Are you passionate about native birds and interested in learning practical tips on managing feral pigs on your property?

Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop, brought to you by Central West Local Land Services in partnership with Little River Landcare, Central Tablelands Local Land Services, and Birdlife Australia. Gain valuable insights into bird conservation and effective feral pig control!

Beaks: Jayden Gunn from Birdlife Australia will deliver an informative session on the iconic Glossy Black Cockatoo, covering key identification features, habitat needs, and feed tree preferences.

Bristles: Kyle Hanns, Biosecurity Officer from Central Tablelands Local Land Services, will provide an update on local feral pig management, discuss pig ecology, and share tips to help you launch a successful pig control program on your property.

Bushland: We’ll wrap up with a guided bushwalk to explore the Glossy Black Cockatoo's habitat and perhaps even spot a few feathered friends in the wild!

What to Bring: Please wear a hat, sturdy boots, and suitable clothing for bushwalking. Bring along a water bottle and binoculars for the birdwatching walk.
